BelugaXL drops in MSFS 2020! Plus Black Square Commander 114 & NASA X-59

Are you looking to expand your virtual hangar in Microsoft Flight Simulator this week, or are you trying to avoid impulse buys on the storefront? Today, we break down a fascinating contrast in newly arrived airframes on the MSFS Marketplace—ranging from ultra-heavy logistics and deep study-level general aviation to experimental quiet supersonic research.

To help you decide what fits your flight routine and budget, we inspect each arrival in detail:

• Microsoft & iniBuilds Airbus BelugaXL: High-volume outsize cargo transport arrives in MSFS 2020. Designed to ferry aircraft sections across Europe, this massive twin-jet boasts an impressive 400 KIAS cruise, over 6,000 NM range, operating altitudes up to 35,000 ft, and fully detailed systems for heavy hauler enthusiasts. • Black Square Commander 114: One of the most technically advanced GA aircraft simulations built for Flight Simulator. Packing both the normally aspirated 114 and turbocharged 114TC into a single package, it features Black Square’s custom reciprocating engine simulation, over 75 dynamic failures, 15 hot-swappable radio/GPS configurations (including GTN 750 support), tablet EFB control, full state saving, and a comprehensive 150+ page manual. • Trespass VR NASA X-59 QueSST (X-59A): An experimental low-boom supersonic demonstrator built to fly faster than sound without triggering disruptive sonic booms over land, presented with custom exterior liveries and cockpit modeling.

Whether you're hauling oversized freight across continents, mastering real-world failure management in a complex touring single, or pushing Mach numbers in experimental flight, we evaluate each release to help you decide what truly deserves a spot in your simulator installation.
