How your files are handled
  • The scan runs entirely in your browser — no files leave your machine.
  • This site is a static page on GitHub Pages with no backend, so there is nothing to upload to.
  • Only file names and paths are read (plus manifest.json for the friendly title). File contents are never opened.
  • Results are cached in this browser's localStorage for the next visit. Clear the site's data to remove them.
  • The folder permission only lasts for this browser tab — closing the tab revokes access.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Disable the package with the red warning first and test the sim again.
  2. If the problem remains, move the full Community folder aside and add packages back in small batches.
  3. Check the same file path across packages. Duplicate aircraft, livery, and UI files are the most common cause.
  4. Look for nested Community folders or archive leftovers that should not be in the folder.
