2 New MSFS Marketplace Aircraft: C212 Aviocar & "Study-Level" Mi-2 Hoplite

Are you looking to expand your virtual hangar in Microsoft Flight Simulator this week, or are you trying to avoid impulse buys on the storefront? Today, we break down a fascinating contrast in newly arrived airframes on the MSFS Marketplace—ranging from rough-strip twin-turboprop utility cargo hauling to vintage Eastern Bloc twin-turbine rotary operations.

To help you decide what fits your flight routine and budget, we inspect each arrival in detail:

- Project MAX CASA C-212-200 Aviocar: The boxy Spanish twin-turboprop workhorse lands in MSFS 2020. Built for rough, short takeoff and landing (STOL) missions, this "flying van" handles everything from cargo transport to paratrooper drops and remote strip hops. We examine the multi-role external configurations, cockpit wear-and-tear, overhead panel, integrated EFB, and the included military and civilian liveries. - Digital Aeronautics Mil Mi-2 Hoplite: A vintage Eastern Bloc twin-turbine utility helicopter arriving with a "study-level" claim and premium pricing. Developed using photoscanned geometry, it includes an authentic flight model, detailed documentation, realistic animations, acrobatic smoke/flares, VR controller compatibility, and solid 60+ FPS performance alongside classic government, police, and military liveries.

Whether you're practicing short-field cargo drops into tight strips or mastering the anti-torque pedals in a classic analog helicopter, we evaluate each release to help you decide what truly deserves a spot in your simulator installation.
