MSFS Marketplace: New Florence (LIRQ) & Fresno Chandler (KFCH) Airports!

If you're looking to expand your regional European routes or shoot sunny VFR patterns across Central California, the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Marketplace just updated with an intriguing pair of airport arrivals. Whether you're lining up a steep, demanding approach into the historic hills of Tuscany or practicing touch-and-goes at an iconic Golden State executive field, this week's drop offers focused additions for both general aviation pilots and regional jet flyers!

In this marketplace breakdown, we inspect all the latest airfield modeling details, hangar facilities, and apron enhancements to help you decide what's claiming top priority on your virtual SSD:

🏛️ HISTORIC TUSCAN HUB: FLORENCE PERETOLA AIRPORT (LIRQ) We travel to the heart of Tuscany in Italy to explore the updated Amerigo Vespucci Airport (LIRQ), developed by South Oak Corporation. Serving domestic, scheduled international, and corporate business jet traffic, this historic field features challenging approaches onto Runway 05/23. We check out the overhaul, highlighting upgraded night lighting, realistic weathering and wear on the terminal architecture, and improved apron immersion for commercial and executive flyers alike.

🌴 CALIFORNIA GOLDEN AGE: FRESNO CHANDLER EXECUTIVE (KFCH) Heading over to the sunny San Joaquin Valley west of Fresno's central business district, we examine Fresno Chandler Executive Airport (KFCH) crafted by Spinoza. Dating back to World War I, this historic field comes alive with authentic building wear-and-tear, custom ramp signage, an air traffic control tower, open hangar bays, on-site fire services, and ambient apron life—including passengers boarding business jets and a local cafe with patrons enjoying a cup of coffee. (Note: Ensure you have the Oceania and Germany World Updates installed for required asset libraries!)
